SELLER PAYMENTS

You keep 75% of the artwork price.

FRAMED's standard commission is 25% of the artwork price. Genuine delivery charges are treated separately under the Seller Terms.

What does the 25% commission support?

FRAMED provides marketplace discovery, checkout, payment infrastructure, seller tools, order management and marketplace support. The commission also contributes to building and promoting FRAMED to buyers.

When does the buyer pay?

FRAMED confirms the buyer's payment method at checkout. When you have actually dispatched the order and submit the required tracking details, the buyer's payment is completed.

When does the money reach my bank?

After delivery is confirmed, the buyer has a 14-day return period. If that period ends without an open return, refund, dispute or cancellation, FRAMED can release your proceeds. If a return is started, your payout stays paused while the return is completed.

After FRAMED releases your proceeds, the exact bank-arrival date can still depend on your Stripe payout schedule, account verification and banking times. FRAMED therefore does not promise a fixed bank-arrival day.

Is tracked delivery required?

Yes. Every physical FRAMED order must use a tracked delivery service. The carrier and tracking number are required when you confirm dispatch. A tracking URL can be added where available.

FRAMED does not impose a universal marketplace insurance requirement. You remain responsible for choosing suitable packaging and a suitable delivery service for the work and destination.

What about refunds and chargebacks?

Refunds, reversals, chargebacks and other amounts for which a seller is responsible can reduce seller proceeds or create an amount due from the seller, as explained in the Seller Terms.

Do I pay to be discovered?

No. Your work can be discovered without paying for placement. FRAMED can surface artwork through swipe discovery, collections, categories, search and editorial choices.

FRAMED does not guarantee any artist a particular ranking, volume of traffic or number of sales.

What is a Founding Artist?

Founding Artist is public recognition for selected artists who joined and contributed during FRAMED's early stage. It is designed as permanent recognition of early participation.

FRAMED may correct or remove the status if it was assigned in error, obtained through misrepresentation or the underlying seller account is removed.

How does 25% compare with others?

Others publish commission rates of 40%, 45% and 50%, depending on seller plan. FRAMED's 25% commission is 15 to 25 percentage points lower than those published commission rates.

Different platforms have different subscriptions, taxes, shipping arrangements, return policies, promotion and services, and fees can change. This comparison concerns commission percentages only and does not mean FRAMED is cheaper in every circumstance.
