What FRAMED stores in your browser.
Some browser storage is needed for FRAMED to work properly. It helps keep you signed in, protects requests, remembers your basket and supports secure checkout.
Essential storage
FRAMED uses Firebase for account authentication and application security. Stripe provides payment technology for checkout. These services may use cookies or other browser storage as part of providing those functions.
FRAMED also uses local browser storage for features such as keeping items in your basket and preserving a guest wishlist on the same browser. Guest wishlist entries expire after 180 days and can be cleared from the Wishlist page or through your browser settings.
Discover taste memory
While you use Discover signed out, FRAMED can learn from likes, passes, artwork-detail opens, wishlist saves and recently seen artwork during that browser session.
FRAMED only stores that anonymous taste profile between visits if you choose “Remember my taste on this browser” in Discover. The saved profile stays on that browser for up to 180 days, is used only to personalise FRAMED artwork discovery, and is not used for advertising. You can switch the setting off or reset the saved taste from Discover.
Statistical analytics
With your permission, FRAMED uses first-party browser storage and first-party event records solely to create statistical information about how the marketplace is used and to improve the service. This includes measures such as page and feature use, conversion steps and website performance. Statistical analytics remain off unless you choose to allow them.
FRAMED does not use this statistical analytics storage for advertising, and the analytics event system is kept separate from buyer taste and recommendation profiles. Your analytics choice is stored on this browser so FRAMED can remember it. You can change or withdraw that choice below at any time.

Advertising cookies
FRAMED does not currently use advertising cookies or load third-party advertising trackers for behavioural advertising.
Your browser controls
You can remove or block browser storage using your browser settings. Doing so can sign you out, clear your basket or stop parts of account security and checkout from working correctly.
