Built around safer payment, tracked dispatch and clear listings

FRAMED Buyer Protection is the name for the payment, tracking, reporting and support processes used on the marketplace. It is not insurance and it does not replace any legal rights you may have.

Payment is authorised before dispatch

Payment details are entered through Stripe and are not stored by FRAMED. For current physical orders, your card is authorised at checkout. Payment is captured when the seller marks the order as dispatched.

Physical orders require tracking

Sellers must use tracked delivery and enter the carrier and tracking number in FRAMED when they confirm dispatch. A tracking URL can also be added when available.

Listings show the information that matters

Where applicable, artwork pages show the work format, edition status, edition details, signature information, production method and whether the seller is acting professionally or privately.

Sellers remain responsible for the legality, accuracy and authenticity of their listings. Counterfeit work, fake signatures, forged provenance and misleading edition claims are prohibited on FRAMED.

There is a route when something goes wrong

Buyers can request cancellation through the order process where available. Approved cancellations before payment capture can release or cancel the payment authorisation. Where an approved refund is required after capture, FRAMED can return funds through the payment provider.

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on the stage of the order, the seller's status, the reason for the request and the legal rights that apply to the sale.

Listing concerns can be reported

Artwork pages include a private reporting route for copyright, counterfeit or authenticity concerns, misleading descriptions, prohibited content, suspicious sellers and other listing issues.

Your legal rights still apply

Buyer rights can differ depending on where you live and whether the seller is acting professionally or privately. FRAMED Buyer Protection does not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
